As to what lies around the bend… well, they did experiments on rats subjected to overpopulation. The results weren’t pretty. I’m not saying humans would react the same way, but overcrowding and brainwash go a long way to causing ‘controlled panic’ in a dumbed-down community.
See how they’re helping 18 year olds to behave as though they were still only 5 or 6 years old?
The other day I heard someone say: “I’m only 20 – way to young to get married”!!
There was a time, only a few years ago, when 20 was over-the-hill, and debutantes ‘came out’ at 16 all ready – and WILLING – to find a partner.
IMO, human maturation hasn’t changed at all in that area. It’s the need for population control that has wormed its ugly head into the equation, and is now denying young adults the right to grow up.
And, I’ve heard most corporations make plans well in advance, so most of them have their 10, 20, 30 and even 100 year plans well in place and operating as we speak. Is there a reason to think global companies don’t plan at least that far ahead? (Rhetorical question)
Hard to get your head around such long-term considerations when you’re already so overworked and tired that it’s hard enough just planning what to wear to work tomorrow, or where to find work in some cases.
Not really wanting to appear pessimistic, more pragmatic, but “pawns in the game” and “cannon fodder” come to mind.
Sigh.. Oh! Is it Thursday already??
