I’ve just finished answering some questions in a survey, and after publishing my replies to the Circle of Elders mailing list (link available at my site), received some feedback concerning this particular question/answer:

For those who are concerned that the Order of the Red Rose is closing, don’t be. It’s just not taking any “new” members right now. All those who currently feel part of it will continue to be part of it – because, as you know:
” The Great Circle of the Order of the Red Rose is a
circle of magic and mystery.
Of love and balance.
Members around the world are linked by
a desire to bring this understanding
to its highest potential. “
and I greatly cherish those of you who do feel part of that. I’ve known some of you for many years, and continue to love and appreciate you all.
We are, and will continue to be linked by the same desire within the Order. If any “new” people really feel the need to be part of it in the future, I suppose I will make the occasional exception and ‘allow’ them membership, although membership itself only requires that you let me know that you ‘officially’ agree with the description of the Order lol.
I’ve just chosen to re-name the “Teaching” section of my Practise back to the Australian branch of the “Great White Brotherhood of Light”, because, after being in email contact with T Allen Greenfield on and off since March of this year, and due to his supportive thoughts and information on the matter, I’ve come to the conclusion that it’s valid and proper for me to do so.
I’m also considering accepting a “Congregational Illuminist” Charter, also at his suggestion.
We’ll see..
