Internal Accusations

Re “Accusations”

(The section in the first person is an internal meditation for you. Contemplate this when over-run by the need for finger-pointing indignation):

“It’s my litany. I choose to do it. Whether it’s based in truth or not, not doing it lifts me out of the morass of having to do it.”

You don’t have to accuse. You don’t have to look for reasons to be indignant – unless you want to. There can be problems – they can be solved – but you don’t have to spend ‘the whole of your life’ arguing in your own mind, arguing in yourself, about how this or that thing should or shouldn’t have been done to you for you against you./

There are other ways to work your way out of it.

And, as I say: It’s a litany. You choose to do it. Whether it’s based in truth or not, not doing it lifts you out of the morass of having to do it, and frees your mind up to choose an alternative, to choose a better way to do it. One that’s not quite so argumentative.

Heal and Hex

You know, most of the people who deliberately come with questions into my life are either going through, or are about to go through some kind of upheaval which is or will be life changing for them. Not all, but most.

I can and do heal and hex equally according to the ‘sense’ of the moment and whether or not I desire to add my energy to the situation. Sometimes, when the people with questions arrive, I have no choice really, so I move my mind into The Great Work phase and share my Time with them as befits a person in my position, whatever that is :)

Cynicism, boredom, and doubt (Intolerance, Vanity, and Self Pity) are the things that prevent useful balancing techniques from working – either “up” or “down” (I don’t like the “positive/negative” point of view, because it’s all so subjective – unless you’re talking about electrical charge) – so the way I ‘allow’ the shift of energies to occur without too much strain on myself is to work on that part of my opinion which removes those aspects.

Then “I” step aside, become nothing, and Know.

Maiden, Wife, Mother

In my practise, the three phases of The Feminine are Maiden, Wife, Mother. That is, someone who hasn’t had sex: Maiden; someone who has has sex: Wife; and someone who has had children (or has reached an age where she has chosen not to give birth): Mother.

This has very much to do with a female person’s sexual knowledge (thus Know Thyself), and not much to do with their menstrual cycle.

The three phases of The Masculine are, similarly, Boy, Husband, and Father, with the same expectation of Know Thyself applying.

A Sage is always someone who has had long experience within the structure of a particular Form, regardless of gender, and a crone is just a derogatory term for an old woman.

We also have Warrior and Defender, applying to both male and female conditions, but mostly Warrior is for the men, and Defender is for the women. Stereotypes notwithstanding :)
