Please enjoy reading this next extract from “Powerful Magic – Secrets from the Inner Circle”. Other than being included in the book, this is the first time this information has been placed in a public forum. It describes the Third Sign in the Cycle of Creation as the new “idea” becomes an individuated event.

Extract:
The Third Sign: The Eye of Self Knowledge, is an eye with horns at the top. The eye contains a small circle like an iris, with a hole in the center.

The horns are an echo of the Horns found in the First Sign. They show that the new creation is still connected to unrealised potential.

The Eye, which now takes the place of the lower arc of the First Sign, indicates self-awareness and the movement of the new creation towards ‘stand alone’ independence. The small circle in the center of the eye is an echo of the small inside circle in the Second Sign, but now refers to the movement of Thought towards the transformation found in the next Sign.

Please enjoy reading this extract from “Powerful Magic – Secrets from the Inner Circle”. It describes the Second Sign in the Cycle of Creation as it moves from pure Potential towards Manifestation.

Extract:
“The Second Sign: Transmission, is formed by a small circle atop a larger circle, which has an arrow pointing outward on each side and a smaller circle with a hole in it in the center. The two outer circles are joined by cross-bars, which have two small arcs on either side also facing outwards.

The large circle represents Thought and all potential and the smaller upper circle depicts the beginning of something new being conceived.

The cross-bars show that the new thing hasn’t completely become realised, but is still very much in its inception stage. The two small arcs are an echo of the Below arc of the First Sign, and represent the reaching, or transmitting/receiving, of the new creation towards manifestation. The arrows on each side indicate a moving outwards, or forwards towards manifestation.

The smaller circle in the middle of the lower circle indicates both the journey of Thought as it breaks away from unrealised potential and the reflection of the journey towards self-awareness, as represented in the Third Sign.”

I hope you enjoy reading this extract from “Powerful Magic – Secrets from the Inner Circle”. It describes the First Sign in the Circle of Creation. I’ve decided to include the reference to the Law of the Paradox so that people might get a better understanding of what it means, and how mind-blowingly amazing it is.

Extract:

“It is necessary to understand that all the Signs represent situations that are constant. That is, they don’t just happen once – they are happening all the time. With no beginning and no end.

The First Sign: As Above – So Below, is comprised of a set of Horns at the top, which are mirrored by an inverted arc beneath.

The Horns represent unrealised potential as it drifts, ebbs and flows within and of itself, from one tip of each Horn to the other. This section of the Sign is similar in meaning to the sign of infinity. At the point where potential drifts in a downward curve in the Sign, the lower arc is created. The lower arc depicts Above being reflected Below.

The Horns are not completely reflected in the arc Below in order to give the understanding that at this stage the potential of Above reflected in Below exists, but that nothing has manifested yet.

Here, there is only Thought.

The First Sign is also called “The Horns of Fate” because of the constant outcome of Above being reflected Below. This does not imply the removal of free will – free will and fate are concurrent – but that Above is always reflected Below.

As is Creation.

The ‘Inner’ meaning of the First Sign – the point where the downward curve of the Horns meets the lower arc – indicates The Law of the Paradox, where all potential and nothing exist simultaneously.”

My replies to various questions and replies put forward after my original post in reference to a Wiccan leader who decided to “return” to Christianity.

Published here for the interest of those who seek to move beyond Belief, and towards Knowledge.

Greetings B***,

Don’t know if it’s “old age” or just logic, but I completely agree
with you here.

While it’s currently politically correct to be politically correct, I
wonder how many politically correct Christian apologists would be
willing to stand arms raised and naked under the sun or moon, either
alone or with friends around, and loudly claim “I am free” – and know
it to be true?

What if they did it every year? Once a month? A week? Every day?

How would they cope with the results of such a claim over time?

Who would stand as loving, yet unbiased Teacher or Guide for them?

How would that loving, yet unbiased Teacher or Guide have received
their training?

With so much of the Craft being whitewashed until it’s unrecognisable
from Christian lore, who today has such Knowledge?

If Christian Doctrine has its way, pretty soon no-one will have it -
or those that do will necessarily need to hide themselves away for
fear of ridicule or retribution from within their own ranks.

IMO, with this nice new need for ‘Pagans” to have a “church” this is exactly
what’s happening now – only recently I found myself for the second
time in my life, with only 30 years between first and second, having
to ‘defend’ my Knowledge against infiltration by such Christian prejudice.

Someone made a mistake when realising that much of Christian Practice
evolved from older Pagan ways, by assuming today’s Christian Rituals
to be copies of those Pagan ways.

They are not!

The days of “Worship” might be the same, or close, but the Doctrines are far removed from
the Wisdom of the Old Ones. In fact they are designed to instill fear
of that Wisdom in favour of self-denial and servitude to ‘Christ’.

Why would any Pagan person wish to emulate that?

With any luck those with a true Thirst for Knowledge can, and will,
transcend that fear by using logic, and will continue their search
regardless of the whitewash.

I know for certain there are around six or seven people here,
including yourself, B***, who can handle the role of Teacher or Guide
perfectly well for those brave enough to continue beyond the limits of
Hope and Fear – and “Belief”.

Six or seven of approximately 1795 members gives an idea of what we’re
dealing with here.

Perhaps we’re already underground, have remained underground honing
our Craft for as long as has been necessary, and have yet to surface
completely.

Perhaps the time to surface is nearing.

Perhaps Wisdom is ageless and Timeless, and will prevail despite the
rhetoric.

Rose-coloured glasses notwithstanding.

Hi J******,

Smiles.. I was wondering if someone would open that door.

For clarity, I have nothing against the deeply Magical practice of
self-denial, or servitude to any Deity of choice, by choice – if it’s
openly acknowledged that it IS a Magical practice and part of Craft
Knowledge, and applied as such.

My Practice sees Christian Ritual and Doctrine as clear examples of
Outer Circle Craft methods: Worship and Faith – those being the
definition of Outer Circle Practice – and understands exactly that
they deliberately use those methods to keep people from Self Knowledge
and other exploration into Craft Wisdom.

However, the Christian Doctrine vehemently rejects and denies having
anything to do with Witchcraft, despite the fact that it makes
constant and daily use of very darkest forms of the Craft, adding fuel
to that fire with Hope and Fear.

Historical, Christian-based Gnostics tend to acknowledge that there is
a deeply Magical side to their Practice, having drawn much of it from
pre-Christian Gnosticism, so they are not in denial about the Mystical
or Craft-based aspects of their Worship the way today’s Christian
Doctrine is – nor is their Practice anywhere near as dark in intent,
while the older pre-Christian Gnostics didn’t need Worship or Faith as
tools so remained – and still remain – purely of the Craft, often of
the Middle and Inner Circles.

Many pre-Christian Gnostics were, and still are Magical Adepts of the
Highest Order, whose threads, even today, weave Knowledge within its web.

My displeasure with today’s infiltration by Christian apologist
rhetoric into our beloved Craft is two-fold: The first irritation
coming from the fact that those Christian apologists are still trying
to undermine any kind of Craft Practice that goes beyond the Outer
Circle requirements of Worship, calling such further exploration
“Evil” or “of the Devil”, or “politically incorrect”, while at the same time and with the same
breath (my second, and greater irritation) pretending that Christian Doctrine is anything other than one
of the very darkest of Magical Practices, which demands “Belief”,
“Blind Faith” and “Hope and Fear” to rule its followers, claiming
instead to be “The Holy Way to Salvation”.

I have no desire whatsoever to affiliate my Practise or myself with
such dark, if not dangerous, hypocrisy, or with those who would
promote it.

However, I have nothing against grumpy mountain goats, or stags, or
their sisters.

Or their advocates :-)

Smiles… well those of us that currently have the information will
eventually die – can’t be helped. But there’s absolutely no doubt in
my mind that before that happens, we will have been able to pass on
exactly enough Wisdom for the Ways to continue, if not flourish.

It only needs one person to hold the seed, and Time does the rest :-)

I think, between you, me, and the other dedicated Teachers with
clarity of Vision around here, at least one seed has been planted. So
we’re off to a good continuance :-)

It’s that “odd student” that hold the key. My own Teacher’s words
might give some courage. He said that because of the strength of mind
required to Look in the Mirror and See the whole of one’s self – warts
and all – and still continue Looking, the Study wasn’t for everyone -
and never will be for everyone. He suggested that less than one
percent of the general community was capable or will ever be capable
of coping with real Craft Knowledge. I think you know what I mean.

The ability to understand the difference between Teacher and Student
sorts the wheat from the chaff right from the start. I can hear the
self-righteous arguments from here lol.

So, not at all your lack of ability to pass on the information, but
the lack of ability in Neophytes to understand context and content, to
‘lose’ themselves, and to do what they’re told.

The “odd one or two of many” that you do manage to pass information on
to are all you really need for the task to be perfectly done – because
that’s the true ratio of people capable of containing the Knowledge in
the first place.

Here are some questions and answers raised in my mailing list about Spirituality and the concept of “we are One”.

It’s a long one, so grab a drink and a comfortable chair and enjoy!

Identifying markers of the respondent have been removed for privacy, and also removed are those parts of the post not directly relevent for the topic here. The respondent hasn’t replied to many of the new questions yet, but I feel the unanswered questions raised are good food for thought for everyone.

We commence with my question:

If you say that our connection is determined by some kind of vast communication network based in quantum mechanics or whatever, but that it goes no further I suppose you could make an argument for that. Unless it is that you do not believe that we continue on.. and all I can say to that is that I respect that opinion if you have not had the experience to know with a certainty otherwise. I have and therefore talking theoretically about something that I know not to be true is difficult. If you are asking could we each be individual ‘gods’ expressing together.. well I could go with that in a sense. I don’t think our bio-chemical meatsuits are limiting to anything more that we are outside of them. Are we collaborating in a “spiritual” sense outside this life, sure.. and we are doing the same within material life. If the meatsuits didn’t serve a purpose, we would never put them on. I don’t think being spiritual beings means our bio-electrical ‘life’ is not real any more than having life in a physical body means that a spiritual consciousness is not real. The difference being that we don’t need expression in the material body to know that we are alive and who we are. But we certainly can maintain a physical existance without being consciously spiritually connected. As far as is it necessary to believe that we, as spiritual beings, are part of a greater whole, first I would say our spiritual selves don’t struggle with that. But when you are talking of an existence outside of the material world, how would you carve out a ‘glob’ of ether and say this is me, and that glob over there is you. When one thought touches another thought directly, can you really say that you are not, in essence, One?>Smiles.. I think, if Life (not the source of Life, but Life – because

We are both who we have come to be, and part of the original. BUT do I believe our source of life is the one and only source of life anywhere.. certainly not. For the purposes of our understanding, the universe that we reside in might as well be infinite, as we can never reach the boundary of it, intellectually or physically or perceptually. Simply ‘reaching the edge’ necessitates expansion. It is impossible for us to ever reach the end, define the container, or qualify and quantify. So infinite. So what Is, Is for us. Is there more than what Is? Oh yes. When I was a small child growing up in a fundy church, I got threatened with a beating once to suggest that I wondered who God prayed to and whether God had a grandpa. I was asked where I ever got such nonsense and I told my mom that I heard him praying and I wanted to know who was God’s god. But, I think as a child I probably had more insight than I do now as an adult. Perhaps it isn’t so far off to say that ‘the universe/source/god/insert whatever inadequate word here’ is seeking just as much as we as individuals are seekers.<

What would a hypothetical omniscient, omnipotent being be seeking, I wonder?
