3 Circles and the Book

This, a reply to an email re the 3 Circles:

I’m glad you like the “3 circles concept”! It’s based on very old knowledge that was handed down ‘mouth to ear’ within the Inner Circle of the European branch of (the Hermetic Order of) the Great White Brotherhood of Light, and taught to me by my teacher when he lived in Sydney, Australia.

It was introduced into the Brotherhood via even older Druidic information that was not only studied, but practised by the Druid Masters before the Celtic influence took over. Even though it wasn’t “Druidism” per se, but actual Witchcraft knowledge as used by the old Druids, my teacher explained that these are old Druidic understandings. I studied with him from 1970 to 1992 – 22 years all up – before I achieved my Third Level and “Ascended Master” Level. I offer this info so you can get an idea of where the knowledge came from, and how I was able to learn it.

The Outer Circle techniques of Following, Believing and Worship are so prevalent and accessible. These are the tools of Magic used by all mainstream, and most other religions (whether or not these religions will admit that they are using well-known magical techniques, and are therefore practising Witchcraft is another matter). These techniques are so much more easy to use – except for learning the actual rituals required for Worship they take very little effort to use – and yet they are effective for so many things that it’s understandable so many people use them instead of choosing the path towards “Know Thyself”.

The reason so much of the Middle Circle path, and the subsequent path to the Inner Circle, is still not known within the ‘general’ community is simply because it IS so involved, and requires quite a commitment of time and energy to learn. And, of course, that for so many years it was necessary to keep these things secret because the Church of the time felt such knowledge would ‘dangerously’ undermine its more – narrow minded – teachings and applied the label of “evil” to the Practise, and “heretic” to the Practitioners. I am thankful so many of us have moved beyond that narrow-mindedness now!

I agree with you about the Quantum level of physics!! I have no doubt the basis of our ‘reality’, as we understand it, rests there.

In my practise realising the Quantum level is one of the main tools to understanding Metaphysics (that which goes beyond the physical). Combined with the knowledge of how the Mind works – being the core understanding found in Parapsychology (that which goes beyond the psychological) – it brings to light information pertaining to “Creation and How it Occurs”.

LOL! As you can see, gaining the Inner Circle understanding of the Law of the Paradox, which we haven’t touched on in this discussion, coupled with the knowledge of “Creation, and How it Occurs” can take quite a while to achieve. I’ve tried to offer the info in a relatively easy-to-understand form in my book, so that what was once held as deeply secret knowledge can now be known by those who choose to move towards it. This time without fear of persecution.

Of course, caring for and about each other is a wonderful goal. Certainly one that I aim for! However, I’m not entirely sure it’s Unity that will bring about fair minded thinking, or Peace, or even understanding. We humans are so diverse in both character and ability that I find it difficult to see how – except that we are all Human – we can be pushed, pulled or otherwise tempted to become the same as each other.

Joy, imo, is such a relative concept. I feel the only way we can achieve the balance, fair mindedness and Peace/bliss so many of us crave is to understand what those events actually ARE, and whether or not they are actually what we ultimately need to have, or experience as a constant. And whether or not our individual characters and abilities lend themselves to achieving those ends, or if our desires and talents can be put to better use in other areas.

This is one of the reasons I started delving into the ‘deeper’ aspects of the Craft all those years ago. I needed to know why there was such a discrepancy between what was said to be proper and good for humans, and the requirements and desires inherent in actual Human Nature. The path towards “Know Thyself” held the answers for me, and led me into this wonderful, involving and Magical craft. It’s no surprise to me that this aspect of it is so often called the Craft of the Wise lol!!

My dear teacher, Eddie, used to say, “It’s not for everyone”. But, in my opinion, it is for at least a few, if not many! And it’s those precious few, or many, that I want to reach. To offer this information to them. I know it will be useful to them. It will give them the tools they need to get past whatever blocks they may be currently facing, or whatever short-comings they may have found within their current studies.

Even if no such blocks or short-comings exist for them within their practise or their lives, at the very least this ‘new’ (although very old), rich information will certainly add to their ‘box of tricks’ and to their store of knowledge.

So, I am so very glad you found it interesting! Even if I reach only one or two people, then it means the seeds have been sown, and these new, yet very old, “secrets” can start to come out once again.

Willing Opinions

Greetings everyone,

Today I was inspired to write this to someone who was feeling down. It could be useful to many here too.

I feel it’s ok to say that most of us here practise some form of the Craft – i.e.Witchcraft – not paganism, which is still a word that doesn’t make sense to me – but Witchcraft.

Anyway, if we understand the principles of magic and the Craft even a little bit, we KNOW we can influence the way we think, and the way we choose to view things. This is one of the mainstays of knowledge within the Craft and is a most important tool in Second Level, Outer Circle practise, and also within First Level of Middle Circle practise. Of course, once you’re using Middle Circle techniques this knowledge has become pretty much second nature – almost instinctive…

Our opinions etc are totally under our own influence, and can be changed according to the way we decide to think. This then affects the way we feel about things, which then causes us to literally change our interaction with the world around us.

This means we can change our point of view whenever we need to, if we choose to. We can use different kinds of tools to achieve this. Some of us make wishes, some pray, some cast spells or use ’sympathetic magic’, some meditate, some decide to focus on positive thinking for a while. Any of these methods can and do work, if your focus is strong, and you’re WILLING to receive the results.

One thing I can promise is that you’re much more likely to have a positive outcome if you allow yourself to know that a positive outcome is possible. Feeling sorry about things is only good for the VERY short term, but does nothing at all to help you think clearly. So, please let go of the need to feel bad. Feeling sorry for yourself won’t help you, even if you feel justified in feeling it – and I do understand how that’s possible! I can’t remember how many times I’ve felt sorry for myself, and each time I felt completely justified whether the situation called for self-pity or not.

I do understand.

If you can’t find anything in the big picture to feel good about, find something closer to home to feel good about. Like that comfy chair, or that nice hot drink. Start feeling good about the ‘little’ things and it will help you let go of feeling discouraged about bigger things.

Doing that will help to clear your mind so that, if an opportunity does come along, you will see it and be quick to make it work.

What to think

Warm Greetings everyone

I’m in a contemplative mood today..

My practice has a simple core, but an extensive result.

Over time I have brought this information in varying degrees to some of the finest minds in the country, if not the world.

While knowing how to think is of the utmost importance, after discussing various aspects of the topic with them I have discovered it’s not enough to know how to think, you must also know what to think.

If you really want to understand and use this information, there’s no point simply taking it on board and adding it to your store of knowledge. You must also learn how to contemplate it so that it becomes an experiential understanding for you.

It won’t work properly at all – except as interesting data that may or may not complement the rest of any other information you have – if it’s left unattended by the senses.

Full cup, empty cup. You cannot add more to an already full cup.

If your mind is full of other information that you consider to be equal to this, or greater, then you have missed the point. You will continue to spin your wheels along the same road you trod before.

In order to move forward with this topic, you must first know what to think, and then apply whatever abilities you have on how to think.

In this way you are less likely to use the hyper-critical aspects of conventional analytical thinking, and more likely to engage the contemplative aspects of your mind. It’s those contemplative aspects, joined with a logical point of view, which bring about an experiential understanding of this topic called variously Metaphysics, Witchcraft, Parapsychology, and the Craft.

In my practice, working at achieving that joining is the Practice of the Craft.

Reincarnation?

The idea that “Time is a bubble” is well known in most Metaphysics circles, but strangely not yet in general society. I wonder why? Could it be empirical ‘evidence’ that the sun rises and sets in a linear fashion has overwhelmed other equally valid ‘evidence’?

I think what stymies most people is the condition of Law of the Paradox which states both the linear and the wholistic happen simultaneously.

That we stand Here and everything else emanates from this point into the past and into future at the same time as the sun rises and sets ‘over time’ seems logical to me.

It gives me great pleasure to note some people are now attempting to introduce Paradox Law into their comments and articles. I just hope they know how to deal with the result of actually experiencing Paradox in their lives, and how to assist others who might try it without adequate guidance….

It’s not for the faint-hearted lol..

Causative Clairvoyance redux

LOL at the boring summer! I’m not surprised your imagination and psychic awareness were activated after reading such differing points of view of reality as the Necronomicon and the Bible.

Psi is sometimes defined as being to do with ‘mind’ stuff: emanations to and from the mind, psychic awareness etc. Magic is mostly understood to be an external manifestation or experience. So, I suppose we could say the difference between psi and magic is similar to cause and effect, wherein one: psi, is (more or less) the instigator of the other: magic.

The point you make: “Magick I thought was about “asking” someone else to do it, or consuming / accessing something else to gain the ability to do it.” is, imo, an accurate description of Outer Circle practise. The Outer Circle consists of those who worship and/or make requests to Projected Externals for support and assistance. However, the Middle and Inner Circles both use techniques which often result in magical outcomes without the need for worship or input from Projected Externals.

It’s extremely hard to be ‘pure’, and, imo, purity has very little to do with magical work, or with psi. We all have character flaws of one sort or another – it’s unavoidable. And, again imo, it’s impossible to overcome each and every one of them. It’s certainly not possible to overcome them using psi.

Karma, if understood correctly, follows along the lines of (quoting Wms here :-)) “If you do what you done, you get what you got”, and has nothing much to do with purity of spirit. We all have a pure spirit. It’s inherent and unchangeable in that regard. The only thing that does change is our point of view of our individual reality, and how we react to that impression. Contrary to popular belief our inherent spiritual nature can not be tainted. Spirit is, more or less, “That which Animates” and its essence flows to and from a different place than does human reaction. As such it is not touched by human opinion or behaviour.

We all make mistakes – obvious, I suppose – so there’s no real need to be troubled by what might be personal inconsistencies when practising magic.

“Know thyself” as a concept and as a practise is more likely to help in that area, but even that study doesn’t guarantee a successful outcome in terms of purity of mind or intention. Though, it can help to bring clarity to intention.

It seems to me you’re grappling with one of the higher Metaphysical concepts: The Law of the Paradox, which states, among other things, that we are, yet are not – at the same time. This is an Inner Circle understanding that doesn’t require assistance from Projected Externals, purity of spirit, or worry about Karma in order to contemplate, or to work with.

There is nothing to fear. It might help if you understand that the concept of fear as it applies to ’spiritual’ matters resides (as a constant, sadly enough) within the Outer Circle and serves only as a detriment if used as a tool to explore either Yourself or the Law of the Paradox.

I have a feeling you’re more than able to follow the implications….

This is a curious fear. Why do you fear this? Isn’t it so that everything we do actively affects the “weave of the world”. Aren’t we constantly breathing, and therefore changing the very air? How can it be otherwise?

Or does your fear stem from the idea that thought in and of itself might impact on Nature? If so, what frightens you about it?

And how, in your opinion does clairvoyance differ in ‘danger’ levels to telepathy? Telepathy is the transference of thoughts, whereas clairvoyance is ’simply’ or ‘merely’ Clear Viewing. It seems to me that telepathy might be the more dangerous of the two, if either were dangerous at all.

In my practise that’s exactly how it is. Until something manifests in ‘reality now’ (ok .. let’s say ‘now’ – reality is so hard to define) it remains a potential that may or may not come to fruition.

Is there a difference between a psychic manifestation and magic? If so, what?

In my opinion, the person who saw ‘correctly’ was able to tune into the querent more effectively than the other seers could. There’s always the possibility that a suggestion of any kind might cause someone to make a decision they otherwise might not make. However, it’s highly unlikely that a reader or seer could deliberately cause something that wasn’t already going to happen.

It would take a Magician of great standing to cause that kind of change. Most seers are not nearly so well trained.

Strangely enough, you will find that, except in rare circumstances, those Magicians who are well trained enough to cause such changes really couldn’t be bothered expending the effort – no matter how small – on someone else’s future.

LOL. Many times. We play tricks on ourselves for sure. It follows that old saying: “Be careful what you wish for”

Again, yes.

But, what’s the difference between an emotionally fueled “whim” and an ethereal prayer?

How can we avoid the listeners? Aren’t they constantly around us all the time? If not, where do they go?

My opinion is that our thoughts affect everything all the time. There is no way around it, up or down. If we put our minds to it, we can have whichever reality we choose: the same event being experienced differently by as many people who experience it, according to the individual choice of each person.

As for wishing and other focused reality creation techniques – perhaps reading books by Deepak Chopra, Louise Haye, or Jose Silva will give insight.

For being afraid that someone other than the individual might affect that individual’s future by suggestion and without their knowledge – perhaps a look at advertising and general schooling techniques will show it’s being done all the time, deliberately, and not by seers or clairvoyants.

Most seers and other clairvoyants, clairaudients etc begin and continue with the best of intentions for their clients.

Again, this is my opinion..

In Harmony – the Real you?

Sweet words, as usual :-)

Sometimes, when I find I’ve lost myself, or my perception of myself, or my illusion of myself, I notice it’s because I’ve been concentrating on something else – like writing email, or singing ;-) Have I lost myself then?

Other times, I find my awareness of self takes a back seat to my personal needs at the time – like my desire for food, or sleep. At those times it’s as if * I * don’t exist, but my desires do. Perhaps I lose myself at that stage…

It’s as if my awareness of myself, to the exclusion of all other events or experiences, happens only when I have nothing else to focus on.

Perhaps out of boredom?

It leaves me wondering if the ‘Me’ part of ‘Myself’ is the same as the ‘me’ part of ‘myself’, or if the whole concept of ‘losing and/or finding’ one’s self is simply a matter of semantics..

I know some people call it ‘overview’ – I do too – but I can’t help wondering who or what it is within us that observes and takes notice of all these losses and findings of Self.

Could it be our ‘Over’ or ‘Higher’ self doing all the noticing? And, if so, why is that not our actual Self? And, if it IS our actual Self, then we haven’t ‘lost’ our ‘True’ self at all, but merely put our attention elsewhere for a short time…

I know for sure the road to recovery from pain can be a long one. Particularly if we take the long road…
