As many of you know, this is the Opening Aspect Ritual for our Grand Ceremony.
However it can also be used as a stand-alone Ritual that can help to re-balance and settle the mind, and calm the emotions if they seem overwhelming to you.
While you can take your time and deeply enjoy it, if you’re short on Time it can also be done quickly at any time of the day or night.
Create your Sacred Space, either actually or in your Imagination.
Raise your eyes towards our Insignia and lift your arms to the Inverted Pyramid postition.
If that’s difficult for you, or if you are sitting down, you can simply inhale through the First postition, then lift your hands up the front of your body and bend your arms at the elbow, hands at shoulder height, fingers pointing outward, palms up.
Then, as though making a wish or saying a prayer, state clearly:
Tolerance brings Strength — Patience brings Heart — Understanding brings Wisdom”.
”The Crown of Strength, Heart, and Wisdom is also The Chalice of Tolerance, Patience, and Understanding.
One, States of Being within our Order – the other, the Tools of our Craft.
We draw one in, and immerse ourselves in the other.
They are not the same, but they each contain their – alternate – attributes – equally.”
Let the Energy of the Truth of your words wash through you.
Then Utter:
“In the Service of the Craft” three times, and close with Cupped Hands Thanks as usual.
