Start with Possibility to Open the Way.

Then, as usual, Invoke or become aware of the Spirit of Water – Desire for the outcome (not “intention”) Flows to us and from us…

Permeates everything…

Then,,, find what you need (The Other), Draw it In, and move to The Life Force to energise it.

PS.. you only need to move to the Key if you’re wanting to finalise something, or remove it.
Otherwise the Deed is Done once the Desire is energised.

“And So It Is” and Cupped Hands Thanks will complete the Working.

With this Working, we’re not aiming for Direct Contact within the Liminal. We’re working in the Temporal here: that which has or is about to come into Manifested existence. The section of the Cycle that follows Change.

So, instead of Calling and Drawing in an awareness of All That Is and All That Is Not, as we do when performing a full Ritual or Ceremony, we Draw in Energy from Those Who Went Before – those who are living or have lived and have the Knowledge and experience to help, along with the Life Force from the Bridge of Life, to Energise our specific Desire.

If you enjoy the full experience of the Liminal, you can start the Working with the Adepts version of A Drawing and Calling In – which includes space within it for ‘secondary’ Work.
Or you can use your Mirror Work, or Acknowledge the Insignia – or any of our Rituals, really. In this Working we started with the Initiates version of I Am Here, which includes Sit Like A Witch (not shown in video).

Any of those Rituals are lovely and will help to bring in correct focus for the Spell, as long as the actual Spell begins with the Sign of Change – so that you can open the door to Possibility to allow the Act of Manifestation into the Physical.

A certain number in a coven?

Here’s another Quora Q and A that might be of interest..

Why would witches supposedly want a certain number in a coven? Wouldn’t they, like most groups, want as many members as possible?

A:
It would depend on the type of Witchcraft being Practised.

People who Practise the First and Second Level, Outer Circle forms, such as all Religions and Philosophies who use Worship and Faith, can have as many as the church will hold – and more – because their basic Teaching structure revolves around a Mind-Over-Matter technique called ‘Belief’.

If you have that, they say, and a strong opinion of who or what your chosen God/Goddess (one or many) is thought to represent or require, and you are Willing to bow to that, you need very little else to be a functioning Member of their huge, extended Covens.

Those of any Level of the Middle Circle, who choose to let go of the aspect of ‘Belief, and then delve more deeply into the Craft using Logic, “Know Thyself”, and other more insightful Mind-Over-Matter techniques, need to have a closer contact (as needed) with their Teachers and Guides.

Under these conditions it’s easier to work in smaller groups so that everyone can receive the Guidance they request or need.

A:
“It’s meant to suggest the goal of the Spell. However, these days that idea has been badly miscontrued as being the whole point and/or focus of the Spell.
When “Setting the Intention” becomes the main focus of the Working it actually blocks and sidetracks the energy flow, or essence of the Spell from freely moving where it needs to go in order to achieve a successful outcome..”

How do you start a Coven?

Here’s a question from Quora that I thought might be of interest here, too:

How do you start a coven?

A:
It depends on your chosen Form.

Some groups follow a rigid ‘religious’ structure, similar to today’s Orthodox religions – and for the same reasons: So that the similarity in structure gives the appearance of being an acceptable and credible religion, which offers the opportunity to apply to governmental bodies for similar social recognition and permissions to those offered to other religious groups.

That’s not to say that they aren’t ‘acceptable and credible’ Practices. They most certainly are.

However, Covens are not always religious bodies in that sense. Many of them work as ad hoc groups that only come together ‘en masse’ for occasional gatherings, don’t have organised schedules or classes, or regular administrative meetings.

My Coven is one of those.

The thing the members of these Covens have in common, and makes them cohesive groups, is the Form they Practise.

Members in this kind of Coven usually only Study in a ‘class’ type one-on-one situation when they request it themselves, or when called by the Teacher, and usually independent of the other Coven members.

So, Mission statements, Guide-lines, Rituals, Ceremonies, and Workings are shown to all members, but they are Practised individually according to the need and ability of the Practitioner.

If you have worked with a particular Form, and understand it well and clearly enough that you are able to helpfully and logically answer questions put to you about it, you might choose to pass some of that information on to others – if (and only if: Covens of this type don’t door-knock or proselytise) they show an active interest by asking you the right kinds questions.

A well-trained Practitioner who is ready to start a Coven will immediately know if they are the right kinds of questions and will answer appropriately.

If they wish to.

If and when you do that with more than two people (yourself and one other), and that situation becomes ongoing, you have started a working Coven.

If you don’t find people who ask you questions, but you are still drawn to Study and Practise yourself, you are known as a Solitary Practitioner.

Fire redirection – a request for those who Will..

Warm greetings everyone.

Strength Heart and Wisdom to you all.

Apparently, most of us – myself included – have fallen into the ‘trap’ of assuming that we should try to stop a force of Nature like this immense Fire by conjuring up rain to quench it.

So, we have Prayed, Begged, Cajoled, Danced, Demanded, Focused, “Set Intentions” (why sidetrack things like that, I don’t know) to seed clouds, or manifest and draw the “Rain” in.

Some of the less bright among us have even tried explaining to the naughty fire energy that shouldn’t be so horrible to everything – with all good intentions there, too, I have no doubt.

Admittedly, there have been some showers, so it wasn’t all in vain, and good work to those who did.

Instead, as someone who prefers to work directly with The Thing That IS, I now propose that those who Will might join with me in actively addressing the Energy of this amazing, virulent and wild Force of Nature.

Directly.

I request that those who Will might stand with me while we acknowedge the awe-inspiring Beauty of the blind Joy and Hunger of this furious Heat as it rages across the country, devouring all in its path.

That those who Will, standing with me, are not accusing it of wrong-doing, or trying to stop it. Nor do they do anything other than let it know it has been Seen and Understood as impressive, powerful, uncontrollable, and raw.

Those who Will, standing together, who are able to truly engage with the energy of the unstoppable, screaming thrill it holds within its own Joy of fulfilling its true Nature, can only then suggest how even more amazing would be its journey UPWARDS to the sky, instead of ‘outwards’ across the earth.

No need to yell, or shout, or threaten, or cry, or try to control with your powerful spellwork.
We’ve tried all that, and it doesn’t work.

See, imagine, picture, dream that your own Desire is amazed by the strength of this overwhelming Heat.

See, imagine, picture, dream that you stand with it, around it, and high in the air.

Request that it comes up to meet you there because it so exciting to be high in the air!

Stand with me, those who Will, and See the terrifying, awe-inspiring strength of this furious Element of Nature as it truly is, and show it how much more Joy it can have simply by extending UPWARDS towards the sky, instead of ‘outwards’ across the earth.
