Hang in there..

It’s in the nature of these things to reach a peak and then subside. We are almost at that peak, so hang in there with Strength Heart and Wisdom, and wait for the dust to settle.

Hello everyone.

Here’s a Quora question for you that might be of interest..

Q:Do you have to do shaddowwork for manifestation to work?

A:While doing shadow work isn’t entiretly necessary for your Rituals to take root, you’ll have a much clearer picture of what’s likely and what’s not if you have a good understanding of and can work comfortably with your Shadow.

Warm greetings Witches All,

Someone just raised a very important point about “intention” that I think should have its own thread.

Q:
So I guess that means your intention behind it is really important in any ritual

A:
Only if the intention isn’t an intention, but a desire, and if the desire is plausible.
Otherwise it’s just wishful thinking x

To narrow it down even further.. “desire” in this context isn’t simply wanting or wishing for something. It’s a yearning, or deep need. Nothing like wishful thinking or ‘setting an intention’.

With “plausible” being the clue..

Hello, witches all..
For those of you who are currently doing Workings and Rituals designed to “awaken” people, remember a chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and that endlessly yelling at a mountain will only exhaust you and make the mountain laugh…

A wattle bird..

Today is one of those rare occasions where I feel I can play some guitar, so I’m sitting in the little sunroom singing “The Story of Isaac” (Leonard Cohen) (in Am fyi) while looking through the window at the lovely pink and purple matchstick bromeliads that are currently in bloom in our tiny garden.

A poignant and lovely song to go with such a pretty view.

Away I go into the first two verses, and halfway through the second verse a beautiful, grey and white coloured wattle bird with yellow markings on its wings flew down onto the pink and purple broms and started carefully poking its beak into the flowers while deftly navigating the green, strappy leaves.

I almost held my breath, but it seemed as though it had arrived because of the sound.

So I kept going.

As I continued to sing the rest of the song it stayed there, darting in and around the plants and then took a quick dip in the small bird bath, creating amazing, miniature performance art.

It stayed until I got right to the end of the song:
“The peacock spreads its fan”.

As I played the final pianissimo note and the sound faded to silence, our bird gave a final flourish of wings and flew away!

Thought you’d like to know x

On being strong..

Thought for the day:
On being strong..
Being strong doesn’t automatically translate to being angry, argumentative, petulant, or belligerent.
Strength is a matter of having courage and being as resilient as you can be in any given circumstance.
The ‘expectation’ is that you will aim for that, and not for the most available excuse needed to explain why you can’t.
