Here’s an interesting Quora question for you:

What is the most important thing to study first when starting out with occultism/occult studies if you want to be self-taught?
A:
The most important thing to understand is that there is more than one thing you will need to study first.
The Occult is an intricate and involved Study with many aspects to it, most of which need to be learned together so you can see how or if they influence each other.

So, take each idea on board to the best of your ability, then explore, test, compare.
See if they can be used with each other or if they need to be kept separate.

See if they make sense to you. If they don’t, find out why.
And remember it’s usually the Practitioner not the Practice at fault if things don’t go to plan.

Having said that, the first things you must learn – not ‘study’, but learn – are Discipline and Self-control.

If you don’t have those, you won’t have the strength of heart and mind needed to explore this fascinating topic.

Personal Health Ritual..

Strength Heart and Wisdom to you all

After much tweaking and testing over the past few weeks, with some amazingly positive outcomes so far, I have created and now offer this powerful Personal Health Ritual to you.

Based on the ‘Manifesting’ section of the Cycle of Creation, it’s not meant for the close or distant healing of others, but as a deeply personal technique designed for your private, individual use.

Please note that while it works beautifully as a stand-alone healing technique, it is NOT meant as a substitute or replacement for wholistic medical advice. Use it to boost or strengthen your natural healing ability in conjuction with your medical practitioners advice.

After so many hardships and setbacks we’ve all endured over the past couple of years, I hope this Personal Health Ritual will help to bring Strength, Courage, and Balance back into your life.

A Personal Health Ritual:
Perform this Ritual twice a day for two days,
Then once a day for a week.
A Mirror is essential for this Working.
It is not for the close or distant healing of others..
It is a deeply personal technique for your private, individual use.

Create your Sacred Space in front of your Mirror.
Invoke the First Breath and Raise your arms to the Inverted Pyramid postion.
Exhale and lower your arms almost to your sides, elbows slightly bent at hip level, palms forward.

Utter with deep sincerity:

“I Call upon Everything That Is and Everything That Is Not.

I Call upon Transmission.

I Call upon The Eye of Knowledge.

I Call upon Change.

I Call upon the Spirit of Water.

I Call upon the Bridge of Life..

I Call upon The Key: The Centre of Power.

And, I draw it In.
Feel it spin.
Feel it spin”

Look into your eyes in the Mirror, breathe slowly and Sense the Energy of the Cycle spinning around you.

Still looking at yourself, Intone:
“Heal THIS body. Heal this body. Heal this body.”

Then:
“I Call on Change to allow it to happen.

I Call on the Spirit of Water to Find the Way, and bring it Here.

I Call on the Bridge of Life.
The Life Force – Awaken it!”

Pause for a breath.

Look deeply into your own eyes and repeat:
“Heal this body” 3 times.

Then:
“Heal THIS heart. Heal this mind. Heal THIS body” 3 times.

Inhale. Exhale.

Looking into your own Eyes and still within your Liminal Mind..

Perform the Cupped Hand Thanks:
Scoop the air with your hands, bring it to your lips, inhale it into your mouth.
Move your cupped hands towards the Mirror, smile at your Reflection, then spread your hands apart and bring them over your head as you wash yourself down with Joy Love and Passion, Strength Heart and Wisdom, Tolerance Patience and Understanding.

Left hand over heart, right hand over left.
Nod your head forward.

Say “Thank you”.
Look up.
Take a step back.

And the Deed is Done.
In the Service of your Craft – and your health.
